Performance Friction Floating Brake Discs and Carbon Metallic Brake Pads are now available. Performance Friction Brakes are American made to the highest standards and the products reflect this.

Performance Friction Race Rotor

The Brake Discs are manufacturered from

• High Carbon Alloy with Copper and Molybdenum to achieve high strength and durability
• Aircraft quality heat treated for micro structure alignment and durability
• Run-out is less than .0005"
• Thickness variation is less than .0002" to reduce pulsation and vibration
• Surface finish of less than 0.7 microns

With any competition brake discs thermal expansion has always been a issue which leads to brake judder and pulsations. Performance Friction designed a new concept called a 'Two Piece Floating Direct Drive Disc' this unique design allows radial and axial expansion of the disc without being constrained by the brake disc hub/hat, this results in:

• Eliminates Pulsation and Vibration
• Reduced Heat Transfer To The Hub Assy
• Reduced Drag Which Leads To Improved Fuel Economy
• Reusable Hub Assy
• Increased Disc Life

Two Piece Direct Drive

The Performance Friction Brake Discs and Pads are available for a wide range of cars but for now we will only be stocking common applications such as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (Brembo Calipers) and the Subaru Impreza Turbo WRX STi (Brembo Calipers), other applications are normally available with just a few days.
